Visions in the Storms "It is I; don't be afraid." John 6:20

I have come to realize that the one thing we feared and didn't want to "tackle" is what God is using to bless us incredibly. To think that we almost didn't apply with HCJB b/c we were fearful of raising support! I just want to thank God for walking us through, and for his people that have already agreed to support us. Each time we hear that someone wants to support us, my heart skips a beat. It's almost like a "rush." Complete joy! God is giving us continual confirmation that we are on the right path.

I'd like to share a passage from the devotional:
"Life is full of circumstances that are terrifying at first glance and can consume us with worries about the future. But here is the lesson learned by the disciples: What initially made them panic was the very Person who brought them growth, faith, rest, and guidance.
Our crises do the same. Though our initial reaction may be panic or fear or disobedience, in reality God may be using that to develop us as His disciples. They may bear eternal fruit that our terrified eyes cannot at first see.
Will we like the disciples, take Jesus "into the boat?" When they did, John reports, they immediately reached the shore. Their panic-like ours most often is-had been unfounded. Jesus brings them, and us, safely to solid ground."
